Part time group practice will take place 3 days a week, from 4:15pm to 6:15pm. Various drills, live ball, match play, and fitness can all be expected in these practices, with the court plan varying from day to day. Mental toughness and fitness will be incorporated during practice time, but if you would like to request extra of these, please don’t hesitate to ask!

As part of the full-time academy, it is expected of our players to register for tournaments and take advantage of having our coaches watch them compete. At the end of every month, an email will be sent out with a list of all the tournaments that will be covered by DTA in the following month. We encourage you to sign up for at least one of these tournaments per month. Tournament play is not only vital to the development of your game, but as coaches, seeing our players on a competitive stage is key to our ability to adjust our instruction.

Our decorated DTA coaching staff is dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential not only in the sport, but in their future. We set high standards and expectations when it comes to our athlete’s character development. Respect, integrity, and work ethic are the core values that represent who we are as a program, and what we guarantee to instill in our community. From a tennis standpoint, we recognize that each player has individual needs, and we pride ourselves on providing unique guidance and instruction. DTA coaches work collaboratively with one another to ensure that our athletes feel they are receiving consistent directions all around.

Adult tennis

We have seen increasing interest from our parents about getting on the court themselves, so we are excited to debut our adult tennis program! No matter your level, we want to see you out on the court. Whether you have tennis goals in mind, or are looking for a new workout, we are excited to get you moving and having fun.
What to expect: Our adult programs will be held in the mornings in an effort to coordinate with school drop-off if needed. Our coaches will cater to the needs of the group. Whether it be point play, drilling, or extra fitness, we’re here to make it happen so that you can start your day off on the right foot.
